Rooted in the South
For more than 15 years, our family has been travelling to the Southern Lakes, drawn by the mountains, the clear skies and the sense of space and calm that feels different here. Growing up on the West Coast, we have always felt connected to the beauty of the wild south, so this part of the country has always felt familiar to us. Over the years, we have built traditions here. We found our favourite spots. We became part of the seasons rather than just visitors passing through.
Today, we’re fortunate to have a home here ourselves. Our children are now growing up with the same memories - long summer evenings, snowy winters and the simple moments that stay with you. Southern BnB was born from that connection and a genuine desire to contribute positively to a place we care about.
I started Southern BnB alongside my mum and aunties, combining our shared love for the region with my professional background in leading complex programmes and projects. Building structured systems, coordinating moving parts and maintaining high standards has been at the core of my career, and it’s the same deliberate approach we bring to managing holiday homes.
At the same time, I’ve always been drawn to interior design, photography, writing and the small details that make a home feel considered and welcoming. Southern BnB brings those elements together - structure and creativity, professionalism and family. Looking after someone’s property is a privilege we take seriously, and we approach it with genuine care and accountability.
